all my life i've been searching

... for lipstick so red it's almost black. and there are hundreds of make-up clerks out there who have thought i was a crazy person as i tried to explain it to them;
"no, not the plum one. black-red. like, a very deep pool of blood?"
backs away from counter.

okay, new approach: "have you seen the rocky horror picture show? the colour that the man wears in that."
"a man wearing lipstick? no."

umm, okaay... how about; "you know the movie pulp fiction? now, i'm looking for the colour of the nail polish mia wallace (or, uma thurman) wears in that movie, but for my lips."
"you want to wear nailpolish on your lips??"

suffice to say, it's been an unsuccessful quest.
until now.
